Yes, I’m Moving to Las Vegas. I’m not a nomad, I’ve lived in the same house for the past 6 years in an area that I grew up in, went to college in and met the love of my life in. I’ve learned to drive on these pothole-ridden roads, attended family Christmas parties in the blizzards of New England and suffered the horrors of high school in a local town of just 10,000.
So, why am I moving away from an area full of family and memories?
No, I’m not fleeing the law to the wild west of Vegas. No, I’m not looking to get into showbiz and have my face on an LCD screen on the strip (although if you’re an agent, I’d love to hear from you 😉 ).
I’m Craig and I’m looking for adventure.
Growing up, I was always fascinated with travel and languages. I always dreamed of teaching English in Japan or translating ancient texts in Greece. In my younger years, I was able to feed this fire of adventure – I traveled the world, from a homestay program in Japan to a semester abroad in France. But I’ve never been gone longer than 3 months.
The time has come and the time is right. I’m ready…ready to embark on a new life, see a new area, put down new roots, make new friends and explore a whole part of the country that I’ve never seen.
It’s time, follow me as I figure out this crazy idea of moving from Boston to Las Vegas.
